It's about time!
Indonesia... home to many musical giants... singers, musicians and song-writers galore.
Talent knows no bounds, and it is great to see how some of this marvelous talent has somehow found its way here in City Harvest Chuch (CHC) Singapore.
CHC Indonesian service, which was set up in 2002 under the care of Pastor Aries Zulkarnain, is a home away from home for many Indonesian believers who have settled here in Singapore.
This sprouting community has grown in leaps and bounds, gathering believers all around the little island city to worship God together.
3PM, is the latest project by CHC Indonesian church. The band name, 3PM originates from the traditional meeting time for the Indonesian worship service, every Sunday at CHC Jurong West church premise.
The members of this band are all Indonesians brought together from many different places and backgrounds. Some have studied and worked in Singapore, Europe, USA and Indonesia. All of them have come together out of their love for God and for music. The result ... a medley of original songs that are uniquely Indonesian yet relevant to the music of our days.
The band members are no strangers to CHC, sporting the likes of Sendy Bolang, Charles Halim, Raymond Sigarlaki, Caroline Tjen, J.J.Simkoputera, many of whom are familiar faces at CHC's main worship services.
Their album, entitled Unto You is the epitome of their natural God given musical talents. The album consist of both mix of original English and Indonesian praise and worship songs written and produced exclusively by the band members.
So look out world ... What time is it? It's 3PM!
